About the role
Rush University Medical Center, a nationally recognized clinical and academic institution, invites applications for the position of Neuro-Ophthalmology Physician. The successful candidate must demonstrate strong interest and prior commitment to clinical and/or basic science research, and must be Board Certified and Fellowship trained in Neuro-Ophthalmology. Eligibility for licensing in Illinois is expected.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical practice focused on outpatient care, with shared coverage of inpatient neuro-ophthalmology consultation.
- Teach and supervise ophthalmology residents and medical students.
- Collaborate with the Department of Ophthalmology and participate in shared conferences with the Rush Eye Center.
- Engage in clinical, basic science, and community-based research.
- Develop the career of your choosing with opportunities to explore interests as a clinician educator and/or collaborate with faculty on research interests.
Requirements
- Board Certification and Fellowship training in Neuro-Ophthalmology.
- Eligibility for licensing in Illinois.
- Strong interest and prior commitment to clinical and/or basic science research.

- Fellowship-trained in Neuro-Ophthalmology.
- Board Certification in Neurology.

Pay
The total pay range shown reflects the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, knowledge and skills; relevant experience and training; education, certifications, and licensure; primary work location; and other business and organizational factors. This total pay range is for a full-time, 1.0 FTE employee, and includes any incentive payments that may be applicable to this role.
