About the role

The neurohospitalist position requires fellowship training in vascular neurology and offers a 7 on and 7 off schedule. General neurologists have the option to work full-time or part-time and can develop a practice focused on neuroimmunology, movement disorders, neurophysiology with EMG, or stroke. The neuroimmunology opportunity offers a predominantly remote practice model.

Responsibilities

  • Manage acute and chronic neurological conditions
  • Collaborate with other specialists to provide comprehensive patient care
  • Contribute to research and education initiatives
  • Participate in quality improvement projects

Requirements

  • Fellowship training in vascular neurology (for neurohospitalist)
  • Board certification in neurology (for general neurologists)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

  • MD or DO degree
  • Current medical license in good standing
  • Passing scores on relevant boards

Skills

  • Strong clinical skills
