About the role
The neurohospitalist position requires fellowship training in vascular neurology and offers a 7 on and 7 off schedule. General neurologists have the option to work full-time or part-time and can develop a practice focused on neuroimmunology, movement disorders, neurophysiology with EMG, or stroke. The neuroimmunology opportunity offers a predominantly remote practice model.
Responsibilities
- Manage acute and chronic neurological conditions
- Collaborate with other specialists to provide comprehensive patient care
- Contribute to research and education initiatives
- Participate in quality improvement projects
Requirements
- Fellowship training in vascular neurology (for neurohospitalist)
- Board certification in neurology (for general neurologists)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree
- Current medical license in good standing
- Passing scores on relevant boards
Skills
