Physician - Nephrology (casual)

About the role

Casual Nephrologist responsible for providing comprehensive nephrology care in a long-term team setting. The position is located in Duluth, MN, with a focus on collaborative, team-based patient care in a scenic area with high quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a full scope of nephrology services including clinical care, hypertension, and post-transplant management.
• Participate in hospital-based services such as ICU, acute dialysis, and apheresis.
• Serve as Medical Director at dialysis units with a dialysis population of around 300 patients across multiple locations, including home dialysis modalities.
• Provide inpatient care at a large tertiary hospital, collaborating with hospitalists and multidisciplinary team members.
• Contribute to outreach consultative services at regional clinics.
• Utilize electronic medical records for clinical documentation and coordination.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Eligible in Nephrology.
