Physician - Neonatologist

About the role

We are seeking an experienced board-certified/board eligible Neonatologist to join our expanding Ochsner Neonatology Team at our accredited Level III NICU located on the West Bank of New Orleans, Louisiana.

Responsibilities

• 24/7 NNP in-house coverage
• Participation in the Vermont Oxford Network
• Eligible to participate in Ochsner system-based neonatal QI projects
• Ochsner MFM consultation available
• Career leadership opportunities
• Cross-covering at the level 4 NICU and maintaining proficiency in level 4 NICU care, education, and research projects

Requirements

• Board certification or eligibility
• Experience in neonatology
• Strong clinical skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Qualifications

• Medical degree
• Current license to practice medicine in the state of Louisiana
• Residency training in Pediatrics or Neonatology
