This opportunity is ideal for a Correctional Health Physician looking to grow their practice in Correctional Medicine and expand services across multiple RUHS Correctional Health locations. Must be in the 3rd year of a 3-year program or the 4th year of a 4-year program to be eligible.

• RUHS – Indio Juvenile Hall – Indio, California
• RUHS – Larry D. Smith Correctional Facility – Banning, California
• RUHS – Murrieta Juvenile Hall – Murrieta, California
• RUHS – YTEC Riverside – Riverside, California
• RUHS – Robert Presley Detention Center – Riverside, California

Robert Presley Detention Center is a minimum-security adult facility with a capacity of 702 inmates. Hours are Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM, closed on county holidays. On-site resources include labs, imaging, and Point of Care testing.

• Provide correctional healthcare services across multiple RUHS locations.
• Expand the level of services in Correctional Medicine.
• Collaborate with an integrated healthcare team to improve patient outcomes.

Pay

Estimated annual base compensation of $275,000 – $900,000, depending on site, specialty, clinical volume, schedule, and experience. Part-time and per diem roles are prorated based on clinical hours worked. Physicians participate in the partnership model from day one, including profit distributions, equity ownership, and K-1 tax advantages. Total compensation, including partnership income, varies by site and may significantly exceed the range shown.
