Physician (MD / DO)

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat patients' physical health through examinations and diagnostic procedures
• Provide and oversee documentation, outside referrals, consultations, and follow-ups
• Offer clinical oversight and support to ARNPs, including care provision and documentation review
• Perform minor medical procedures such as sutures, IV placement, and lumbar puncture
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary staff and provide education to patients and families

Requirements

• Medical doctorate (MD) or doctor of osteopathy (DO) from an accredited university
• Two (2) years post-residency clinical experience in an outpatient/inpatient setting
• Psychiatric experience preferred
• Licensed in the state of employment
• Current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and applicable certifications
• Board certified or eligible in internal or family medicine

Qualifications

• Ability to manage a full-spectrum primary care panel focused on chronic disease management, infections disease, acute complaints, and medication management
• Ability to manage withdrawal processes and oversee MAT protocols
• Experience with suturing minor lacerations, abscess incision & drainage, and wound care
