Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with acute illnesses and minor injuries.
- Perform comprehensive physical examinations and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Order, interpret, and review diagnostic testing as needed.
- Prescribe medications and provide follow-up recommendations.
- Perform common urgent care procedures within scope of practice.
- Educate patients regarding treatment plans, preventive care, and wellness.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to ensure efficient patient care and clinic operations.
- Adhere to all regulatory, clinical, and quality standards.
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Active state medical license (or eligibility for licensure).
- Board Certified or Board Eligible.
- Previous Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, Occupational Medicine experience.
- Current BLS & ACLS certification.
- Minimum 1 year of physician experience.
- Preferred: Interest in occupational medicine and physical examinations, Ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical setting, 4+ years experience, preferred.
