Physician - Maternal Fetal Medicine

About the role

Ochsner Health is seeking a Maternal Fetal Medicine Specialist to join our growing Maternal Fetal Medicine group within our multi-specialty OB/GYN Department. The MFM group has physicians based in New Orleans and Lafayette, and we are looking to add an additional MFM physician to our Lafayette-based team.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical high-risk obstetrical care
• Perform diagnostic obstetrical ultrasonography
• Conduct invasive prenatal diagnostic procedures
• Collaborate with the MFM team in New Orleans and Lafayette to offer the highest level and most advanced care to patients
• Participate in a broad referral area with a well-respected Maternal Transport service and utilize a strong telemedicine component

Requirements

• Board certified or board eligible
• Expertise in clinical high-risk obstetrical care
• Experience with diagnostic obstetrical ultrasonography
• Experience with invasive prenatal diagnostic procedures

Qualifications

• Medical degree (MD or DO)
• Completion of an accredited OB/GYN residency program
• Completion of an accredited Maternal Fetal Medicine fellowship program
