Physician Leader: Section Chief, Endocrinology, Diabetes, Nutrition, and Weight Management

Position Overview

The Chief of the Section of Endocrinology, Diabetes, Nutrition, and Weight Management is a senior academic physician leader responsible for the strategic, clinical, research, and educational direction of a large, multidisciplinary section within the Department of Medicine. Reporting to the Chair of Medicine/Physician-in-Chief, the Section Chief will guide a high-volume clinical enterprise serving a diverse and underserved patient population while advancing academic excellence in endocrine, diabetes, weight management and nutrition care.

Job Requirements

• Medical Degree
• Experience in a leadership role desired
• Preference for Board eligible/certified in Endocrinology

Compensation

Boston University School of Medicine offers a competitive salary commensurate with academic training and practice experience. $275,000-$375,000
