Physician - Laryngology-Section Head

About the role

Ochsner Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Laryngologist to join the Ochsner Voice Center. The successful candidate will bring their expertise and energy to a well-established laryngology/speech-language pathology team serving the New Orleans community and the Gulf South region.

Responsibilities

• Active clinical practice with far-reaching referral base
• Grow a laryngology, voice, and swallowing center
• Collaborate with talented team of speech pathologists
• Favorable hospital call rotation shared among the physicians within the group
• Integral role in education of residents and medical students
• Opportunities for clinical research

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

• A Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
• Current, unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state of Louisiana
• Completion of an accredited residency program in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery
• Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery
