Physician - Laborist
About the role
MultiCare Health System is seeking a BC/BE OB Laborist to join their well-established, thriving and comprehensive practice.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality obstetric and labor services in a compassionate manner.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient care continuity.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and educational activities.
- Adhere to established protocols and guidelines for obstetric and labor care.
Requirements
- Completion of a US ObGyn residency program.
- Board certified/eligible at time of employment.
- Licensed in the state of WA by the time of employment.
- DEA, NPI & prescriptive authority.
- Certified in Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers by the American Heart Association.

Good Samaritan Hospital is a 388-bed acute-care hub serving Puyallup and East Pierce County. It features a Family Birth Center, Level III Trauma and Neonatal ICUs, Level I Trauma Rehabilitation Center, Children’s Therapy Unit and a 24-hour Emergency Department.

Pay and Benefit Expectations
We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $423,091.00 - $423,091.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education.
