About the role
At Ochsner Health, we are seeking multiple BC/BE Anesthesiologists or PM&R Physicians, fellowship trained in Interventional Pain Management, to join our expanding Interventional Pain Medicine program in the Greater New Orleans area. Candidates must be willing to commit to teaching and/or research.
Responsibilities
- Provide interventional and comprehensive care in both the outpatient and perioperative settings.
- Develop relationships in an expanding referral network.
- Comfortable working in a comprehensive electronic medical records system.
- Participate in teaching and/or research activities.
- Contribute to the academic mission of the Department of Anesthesiology.
Requirements
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Anesthesiology or Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.
- Fellowship trained in Interventional Pain Management.
- Strong interest in chronic pain management.
- Ability to develop relationships in an expanding referral network.
- Comfortable working in a comprehensive electronic medical records system.
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree.
- Current license to practice medicine in the state(s) of practice.
- Completion of an accredited anesthesiology or PM&R residency program.
- Completion of an accredited pain fellowship program.
Skills
- Proficiency in interventional procedures.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
