Physician - Interventional Cardiologist

About the role

We are seeking a BC INTERVENTIONAL CARDIOLOGIST to join an established, very successful Cardiology practice in New Orleans, Louisiana. The successful candidate will join 4 interventional cardiologists at our New Orleans Campus, as part of our nationally recognized cardiology group of over 80 cardiovascular clinicians practicing at multiple locations across southeast Louisiana.

Responsibilities

• Employ and lead with his/her full range of interventional skills in state-of-the-art catheterization laboratories.
• Dedicated to the non-surgical treatment and prevention of heart attack, structural heart disease, stroke and limb loss.

Requirements

• Board Certified in Cardiovascular Medicine.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree.
• Current Medical License in the state of Louisiana.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Cardiovascular Medicine residency program.
• Completion of an AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) course.
