Physician Internist

About the role

As part of our Internal Medicine team, you will manage a combination of outpatient clinics, inpatient consults, and field clinics throughout Alaska. Serving as a Level II Trauma center, ANMC represents over 30 medical specialties and serves as the tertiary referral center for Alaska Native and American Indian people from across the state.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a diverse caseload of patients across various medical specialties
  • Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of clinical services and patient outcomes
  • Participate in continuing medical education and professional development activities

Requirements

  • Current Medical License in Alaska
  • Board Certification in Internal Medicine
  • Experience in rural or underserved healthcare settings preferred

  • Passion for providing high-quality healthcare to Alaska Native and American Indian communities
