About the role
Family Health Centers of San Diego (FHCSD) is hiring for an Internal Medicine Physician to join our primary care team at our Hillcrest clinic.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive medical care to patients in a multi-cultural, multi-lingual setting.
- Work with a team of more than 3,200 dedicated employees who take pride in serving the diverse communities they serve.
- Offer care to more than 227,000 patients annually, with 91% being low-income and 29% uninsured.
- Participate in a multi-disciplinary team approach to patient care.
- May have the opportunity to work with HIV patients in the future, subject to AAHIVM certification.
Requirements
- Board certified or Board eligible in a Primary Care field.
- Demonstrated experience with providing care to underserved, low-income persons, or homeless persons.
- Able to work effectively with patients from diverse social, cultural and economic groups.
- Current American Heart Association healthcare provider CPR (BLS), or Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Advanced Trauma Life Support, or Advance Resuscitation Training.
- DEA license.
- Graduate from an accredited school of medicine.
- Must possess current unrestricted license to practice in the State of California.
- AAHIVM certification preferred.
- Experience and additional training in providing gender affirming care required.
Qualifications
- Must be licensed to practice medicine in the State of California.
- Must have a valid DEA license.

Pay
The salary range for this position is: $290,000.00 - $335,000.00.
Schedule
Full time (will consider part time at 32 hours per week).
