Physician, Internal Medicine (Outpatient)

Sutter Health is seeking a BE/BC Outpatient Internal Medicine Physician to join our collegial and dedicated team at Sutter Lakeside Outpatient Clinic, located in the beautiful mountain ranges of Lake County. Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care to adult patients in an outpatient clinic setting.
- Perform routine and chronic disease management (e.g., hypertension, diabetes, COPD, heart disease).
- Conduct physical exams, preventive care, and wellness visits.
- Diagnose and treat acute medical conditions commonly seen in an ambulatory setting.
- Order, interpret, and follow up on labs, imaging, and diagnostic studies.
- Develop individualized care plans based on patient needs and evidence-based guidelines.
- Manage medication therapy, refills, and adjustments.
Requirements
- Five (5) years of recent, relevant clinical experience preferred.
- Certification & Licensure: Board Eligible or Board Certified Eligible for California medical licensure, DEA registration, BLS and ACLS certification required. Additional certifications (PALS, NRP) as required by department policy.
Qualifications
- Medical Degree from an accredited institution.
- Current Medical License in California.
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine.

Pay
The compensation range is $261,996.80 to $376,001.60 / annual salary. The compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled. Total compensation considers multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs. Base pay is only one component of Sutter Health’s comprehensive total rewards program. Eligible positions also include a comprehensive benefits package.
