Physician - Hospitalist, St. Dominic Hospital- Jackson, MS

About the role

This position is a full-time Hospitalist role at St. Dominic Hospital, a 571-bed tertiary care facility. The hospital employs over 4,000 team members and has a medical staff of nearly 500 physicians.

Responsibilities

• Treatment of every patient as a sacred gift from God, addressing physical, mental, and spiritual needs.
• Collaborate with Advanced Practice Clinicians (APCs) to improve throughput and timely patient discharge.
• Work in a team-based environment, managing an average of 18 patients per rounder with a 7 on 7 off schedule.
• Dedicated Nocturnist Program and Admitter during the day to ensure continuous care.
• Utilize Epic EMR system for efficient documentation and patient management.
• Offer robust specialty services including but not limited to:
• Robust offering of specialty services at St. Dominic.

Requirements

• MD or DO Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
• Eligible to obtain a Mississippi Medical License.
