About the role

The Pediatric Hospitalist position at Sutter Medical Group (SMG) in Davis, CA is seeking a board certified/eligible candidate to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive inpatient care for pediatric patients across various specialties.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care.
• Participate in rounds and consultations to address complex cases.
• Manage and coordinate care plans for hospitalized pediatric patients.
• Assess and monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Contribute to the education and training of medical students, residents, and fellows.

Requirements

• Current California Medical License.
• Board Certification or Eligibility in Pediatrics.
• Experience in pediatric hospital medicine preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an accredited pediatric residency program.
