Per Diem Pediatric Hospitalist

Description

Pediatric Hospitalists provide in-house 24/7 coverage for St. Joseph Medical Center (Level II Trauma), including the Pediatric Unit, Newborn Nursery, Level II Special Care Nursery, delivery attendance, and ER support.

• Scope of care includes Pediatric Unit, Newborn Nursery, Level II Special Care Nursery, delivery attendance, and ER support.
• Second daytime hospitalist will be covered, with shifts including 12-hour day shifts, 12-hour night shifts, and 9-hour day shifts.
• Experienced, collegial, supportive, and focused on high-quality, evidence-based medicine.
• Robust primary care team and strong continuity of care from inpatient to outpatient.
• Emergency Department (ED) support available.

Requirements

Board Certified Pediatric MD/DO with at least 2 years of post-training experience that includes hospital work.

Qualifications

Must have a current Washington State Medical License.

Skills

Experience with EPIC EMR.

Pay

$132.71/hr.

Schedule

Shifts include 12-hour day shifts, 12-hour night shifts, and 9-hour day shifts.
