About the role

The Hospitalist Medicine Program at Magnolia Regional Hospital collaborates with the Internal Medicine Residency Program to support new residents in providing care in the community. The program operates on a 7 on 7 off schedule and utilizes a team-based approach with assistance from Advanced Practice Clinicians (APCs).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Internal Medicine Residency Program to support new residents in providing care in the community.
• Provide hospitalist services including but not limited to cardiology, surgery, women's health, nephrology, oncology, and gastroenterology.
• Work in conjunction with an interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Assist in the training and development of new physicians through mentorship and clinical guidance.

Requirements

• MD or DO Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
