About the role
Seeking Hospital Medicine Physicians to provide care at a 96-bed hospital serving a rural community.
Responsibilities
- Managing patients with low acuity, primarily in medical-surgical and behavioral health units.
- Providing coverage for ICU transfers and utilizing sub-specialty backup such as cardiology, pulmonology, and nephrology.
- Performing procedures like C-lines and working with on-site labs and imaging.
- Collaborating with an integrated emergency department team to deliver comprehensive care.
Qualifications
- Board Eligible or Certified in Hospital Medicine.
- Licensure in Connecticut (preferred).
- Comfortable with procedures such as C-lines.
