Physician - Hospitalist

About the role

We are seeking Board Eligible or Certified Hospital Medicine physicians for a rural hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient care to a low-acuity patient population with a mix of medical, surgical, and behavioral health cases.
• Manage ICU patients transferred to specialists such as cardiology, pulmonology, and nephrology.
• Perform procedures like central lines (C-lines) and utilize onsite labs and imaging.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver integrated care solutions.

Requirements

• Board eligible or certified in Hospital Medicine.
• Current Connecticut license is advantageous.
• Comfortable performing procedures like central lines (C-lines).
• Ability to work in a rural hospital environment with a diverse patient population.
