Physician Hospitalist

About the role

• 7-on 7-off day schedule with an admitter role
• Handle ED admissions so rounding hospitalists maintain uninterrupted rounds
• Open ICU with 24/7 intensivists on-site; no codes, rapids, or rapid responses
• No procedures or vent management; intensivists manage ICU until stepdown
• Hospital-employed position at a leading acute-care facility in Kansas City
• Target start within 90–120 days

Requirements

• Internal medicine or experienced family practice background preferred
• Comfortable working with underserved and inner-city patient populations
• No visa sponsorship available

Compensation

Salary from $316,000.00 to $316,000.00 annually. Ranges shown should be used as an estimate and are affected by many factors including the critical need of the position, your overall experience and qualifications, and other considerations. Rates shown are all-inclusive and combine an hourly base pay with other potential earnings like overtime, call, and holiday pay. Please contact your consultant for details.
