Physician Hospitalist
About the Role
Join a dedicated team in Oklahoma City where we pride ourselves on providing exceptional care for stroke and neurocritical patients. This permanent, full-time position is for a hospitalist specializing in the management of stroke and neurocritical conditions at our comprehensive stroke center in the major metropolitan area of Oklahoma City.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary admitting and attending physician on the stroke floor
- Collaborate closely with neuro ICU physicians and stroke/vascular neurologists
- Lead a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
Requirements
- Board-certified or board-eligible in internal medicine, emergency medicine, or critical care
- Current ACLS, ATLS, or PALS/NRP certification
- Proficiency in lumbar puncture
- Oklahoma medical license in hand (or in process) is a plus
Schedule
Blocked days; 7 days on, 7 days off.
