Physician - Hospital Medicine - PRN

About the Role

Opportunities for PRN days and nights in a hospitalist role at a 566-bed facility serving a diverse community. The hospital is a Level II Trauma Center and Nationally Certified Stroke Center, offering a supportive environment with local control, autonomy, and a culture emphasizing teamwork, shared purpose, and community impact.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient care, including patient assessments, treatment, and consultation within the hospital setting.
• Manage approximately 18-20 encounters daily and 10-12 encounters nightly.
• Work in a closed ICU setting with no procedures required.
• Collaborate with on-site intensivists, imaging, and labs to deliver quality patient care.
• Participate in hospital operations and quality improvement initiatives.
• Support the hospital's high standards for patient safety and care delivery.

Requirements

• Board Eligible or Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Practice.
• Current Florida license is preferred; visa candidates are encouraged to apply.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills.
