Physician - Hospital Medicine Nocturnist

About the role

Ochsner Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Hospitalist for a full-time nocturnist position at Ochsner Rush -Meridian, MS. The hospital has a 215-bed capacity with a 23-bed ICU and a 49-bed LTAC. The schedule is 1 nocturnist covering 6pm to 6am, with a census of 35-40 patients per shift.

Responsibilities

• ICU rounds, intubations, run codes, central lines, and lines management
• Utilizing telemedicine in Critical Access Hospitals

Requirements

The successful candidate must have:

• A current, unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state of Mississippi
• Completion of an accredited residency program in Internal Medicine
• Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Internal Medicine

Qualifications

Preferred qualifications include:

• Experience with telemedicine
• Experience with LTAC patients
