Physician - Hospital Medicine

About the Role

Seeking Hospital Medicine Physicians with Board Eligible/Certified Internal Medicine or Family Medicine backgrounds, including those with hospitalist experience. Candidates should hold BLS and ACLS certifications, with a current CA license preferred. Visa candidates are encouraged to apply.

The role involves providing acute inpatient care in a Level II Trauma and Stroke Center with a 50-bed hospital, managing admissions and patient care alongside intensivists and hospitalists. Procedures such as vent management are considered a bonus. On-site imaging and labs are available for diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality inpatient medical care aligned with hospital protocols.
• Participate in patient admissions, management, and discharge planning.
• Contribute to a culture of teamwork and excellence in patient outcomes.
• Manage admissions and patient care collaboratively with intensivists and hospitalists.

Requirements

• Experience in hospital medicine or hospitalist roles.
• Strong clinical skills in inpatient care.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Board Eligible/Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Current CA license preferred.

Pay

Compensation varies based on site, experience, and clinical volume, with potential total earnings exceeding $900,000.
