About the role
We are seeking progressive and entrepreneurial Full-Time Physicians with adult and pediatric experience to join our welcoming and diverse community of Northwell providers in our Nassau County Urgent Care Centers.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients in a fast-paced environment
- Treat all ages (6 months and older)
- Perform minor procedures such as sutures, casts, splints, and read EKGs and X-rays
- Work closely with a supportive staff including Rad Techs, Medical Assistants, and Scribes
- Take vitals, review medications, perform point of care testing, and document
- Enjoy flexible scheduling options and the opportunity to rotate to other locations
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Urgent Care
- At least 1 year of experience in either an urgent care or emergency room setting treating all ages (6 months and older)
- Comfortable with minor procedures, reading EKGs, and X-rays
Qualifications
- Medical degree (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.)
- Current license to practice medicine in New York State
- Passing score on the National Board of Medical Examiners (NBME) exam

Pay
$135/hour - $160/hour (specialty training and experience-based range)
