Physician / Hematology / Washington / Locum or Permanent / Physician

Locum tenens opportunity with a healthcare partner in Washington for a Hematology/Oncology physician.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday, full-time (4 weeks per month)
• Clinic hours: 9 am–5 pm seeing patients Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday
• Admin day on Thursday
• Weeknight beeper call and 24-hour weekend beeper call
• 8 guaranteed hours per day; overtime applies after 9 hours per day
• ASAP start through March 2027 (6-month commitment required)

Job Setting

• Inpatient and outpatient
• Up to 20 patients per shift
• 19 beds in department
• Call ratio 1:5; call response time required within 30 minutes

Responsibilities

• Manage hematology and oncology cases

Requirements

• Board Certified in Hematology, Oncology, or Hematology/Oncology
• BLS certification required
• Active Washington State license or IMLC
• Fellowship required
• DEA required

Credentialing

• Estimated credentialing timeframe: 30–90 days
• Temporary privileges available
• Malpractice insurance provided by vendor
