Physician, Health & Wellness Center
About the role
The Federal Reserve Bank of New York is seeking a Physician to support the health and wellness of its employees. This role is unique in that it offers a chance to practice medicine in a dynamic, diverse setting with a focus on employee health and wellness.
Responsibilities
- Provide medical treatment of work-related and episodic illness and injuries.
- Review pre-employment and other health-related requirement placement and periodic physical and psychological examinations.
- Support the Bank's workers' compensation programs and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Develop and present health and wellness education programs, disease-specific screening programs, and fitness programs.
- Collaborate with the Benefits and Leaves Team to support the Bank's medical leave of absence program and accommodations processes.
- Advise Bank management on matters related to employee health and safety, emergency planning, and contingencies.
Requirements
- MD or DO license to practice medicine in NY and NJ.
- Board Certification in Occupational Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine, with an interest in Women’s Health, Men’s Health, Mental Health, Nutrition, Preventive Medicine, or Holistic Medicine.
- Knowledge of relevant occupational laws, statutes, and regulations at State and Federal levels.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence others by effectively conveying complex topics to non-medical colleagues.
- A highly collaborative working style and strong interpersonal and relationship-building capabilities.
Qualifications

Pay
$193,750 - $252,850 per year.
