About the Opportunity

Sutter West Bay Medical Group (SWBMG) is seeking a Gynecologic Oncologist to join a premier, innovative, and rapidly growing physician group in San Francisco. This is an outstanding opportunity for a collaborative clinician-leader to help shape the future of gynecologic cancer care, partnering with service line leadership to expand innovative therapies, elevate wraparound support services, and help guide development of a new, leading-edge cancer center in the city.

New Cancer Center Development: Leadership Opportunity

This role offers a unique chance to help shape a new cancer center currently in development in San Francisco. The incoming Gynecologic Oncologist leader will partner with health system and service line stakeholders to define a cutting-edge gynecologic oncology vision, including clinical pathways and quality standards, multidisciplinary care design, program growth strategy, and integration of emerging therapies, clinical research opportunities, and patient support services.

Qualifications

  • Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gynecologic Oncology
  • Eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in California
  • Established clinical expertise in gynecologic oncology, including complex surgical care and multidisciplinary cancer treatment
  • Demonstrated interest or experience in program building, service line development, clinical operations, quality improvement, or cancer center growth
  • Ability to partner effectively with health system leaders, physician colleagues, operational teams, and multidisciplinary stakeholders
  • Strong communication, leadership, and collaboration skills
  • Commitment to patient-centered, equitable, high-quality care

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in clinical research, clinical trials, academic collaboration, or development of evidence-based care pathways
