About the role

The role involves providing expert geriatric assessments and management across complex clinical pathways, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to address the unique needs of older adults.

Responsibilities

• Consulting on medicine, trauma, orthopedics, ICU, and subspecialty services
• Mentoring residents, fellows, and students in geriatric principles
• Engaging in scholarly activities, research, and quality improvement initiatives aimed at reducing hospital-acquired complications
• Potential leadership opportunity as Associate Program Director for Quality Improvement, Patient Safety, and Scholarly Activity

Qualifications

• Board certification in Geriatric or Palliative Medicine
• At least five years of post-fellowship academic experience
• A strong record of scholarly output
