About the role

Primary area of practice in general medical genetics, with an opportunity for involvement in newborn screening and management of children and adults with inborn metabolic disorders.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care for patients with genetic conditions.
• Conduct diagnostic evaluations and genetic counseling sessions for patients and families.
• Participate in clinical research projects related to genetics and metabolic disorders.
• Provide consultation and mentorship to genetic counselors and other healthcare providers.

Qualifications

• Medical degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification in Medical Genetics.
• Experience in managing patients with inborn metabolic disorders.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
