About the role
The West Virginia University Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute and the Department of Neurology in the WVU School of Medicine are recruiting two neurologists (ranks available: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor) to provide inpatient and/or outpatient care for Reynolds Memorial Hospital in Glen Dale, WV and at Wetzel County Hospital in New Martinsville, WV.
Responsibilities
- Practice in the area of neurology
- Provide excellent patient care
- Be actively involved in teaching medical students and residents
Qualifications
- Candidate must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible for state medical license
- Must have completed a Neurology residency program
- Must be board certified / eligible in Neurology

Reynolds Memorial Hospital is a non-profit, acute-care community hospital located in Glen Dale, WV. It is governed by a 25-member volunteer board of directors and licensed for 90-beds and a 20-bed Skilled Nursing Unit. The hospital was recently rated the SAFEST hospital in Marshall, Ohio and Belmont counties by Consumer Reports and ranked the 3rd best hospital in the state of West Virginia for having the least amount of hospital-acquired conditions based on Medicare data.
