Physician - General Anesthesiology - Coastal Carolina Hospital

About the role

Vituity is seeking Board Eligible/Certified General Anesthesiologists to join their team at Coastal Carolina Hospital in Hardeeville, SC.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care to surgical patients under the supervision of anesthesiologists.
• Assess patient conditions and develop anesthesia plans.
• Monitor patients during procedures and manage anesthesia-related complications.
• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient care.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies.

Requirements

• Current SC state license is preferred.
• Board Certification in Anesthesiology.
• Experience in a hospital setting is preferred.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO).
• Completion of an accredited anesthesiology residency program.
• Passing scores on the USMLE or COMLEX examination.

Pay

Estimated annual base compensation of $275,000 – $900,000, depending on site, specialty, clinical volume, schedule, and experience. Compensation for part-time and per diem roles is prorated based on clinical hours worked.
