Gastroenterologist to join a group of 9 physicians and 7 APPs in a full-time, outpatient‑focused position with minimal inpatient coverage. The group includes 3 gastroenterology hospitalists who provide consult coverage at Avera McKennan Hospital. Practice is based in a brand‑new facility (opened Jan. 2026) dedicated to digestive health, featuring 10 procedure suites and 44 pre/post procedure rooms. Located in a South Dakota city of 250,000 serving a market of 1 million, with a local regional airport offering connections to over 200 cities; 80 mi to Sioux City, 180 mi to Omaha, 4 hrs to Minneapolis. Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient gastroenterology care
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the new facility
- Participate in weekly GI conference
- Teach medical students, family practice and internal medicine residents
- Provide minimal inpatient coverage; consults handled by group hospitalists
