Physician - Gastroenterology: Hepatology

About the role

This role is for an ABIM board-certified or eligible Transplant Hepatologist focused on managing all aspects of liver disease, including pre- and post-transplant care, within an academic medical setting.

Responsibilities

• providing comprehensive transplant care to patients with end-stage liver conditions
• participating in multidisciplinary team activities
• engaging in quality assurance, education, and research initiatives
• teaching and mentoring residents, fellows, and medical students
• involving in clinical research, presentations, and academic activities
• evaluating diverse liver disease patients
• performing procedures such as endoscopies and colonoscopies
• contributing to a Tier-5 Quality Liver Program with excellent patient outcomes

Qualifications

• board certification or eligibility in Transplant Hepatology
• fellowship training in Gastroenterology and Transplant Hepatology
• team‑oriented and ready to make an impact
• fellowship‑trained recent graduates encouraged to apply
