Duties
- Diagnose and treat patients with digestive disorders including liver disease, ulcers, irritable bowel syndrome, cancers and other disorders of the gastrointestinal system in both the outpatient and inpatient setting.
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent
- Eligible to obtain a state medical license
- Completed an accredited residency in Internal Medicine
- Completed a fellowship in Gastroenterology
- Board certified or eligible in Gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine

Employment through WVU Health System Medical Group (SMG) Non-profit, 300 bed new hospital facility Call of 1:6 and every sixth week inpatient service 6 Advanced Practice Providers across inpatient and clinic Over 100 endoscopy cases per physician per month 3 days in clinic and 2 days in endoscopy Consultative practice with hospitalists admitting Comprehensive health benefits provided by WVU Medicine 403B retirement match program with optional 457B plan Short term disability plan covering 100% base salary for up to 6 months Significant recruitment incentives with an initial multi-year contract
