About the role
We are seeking a Family Medicine physician with 2 or more years of experience to join Colorado Mountain Medical. In this role, you will provide comprehensive care to adult patients, focusing on prevention, diagnosis, and management of a wide range of health conditions. You will deliver patient-centered care, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and promote health and wellness within the community. The ideal candidate will manage chronic conditions, perform routine check-ups, and create personalized treatment plans to optimize patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Provide and manage direct patient care, including physical examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses, and treatment for a specified patient population.
- Prescribe or administer pharmaceuticals, other medications, immunizations, and treatment regimens as appropriate to assessed medical conditions.
- Offer health and wellness advice to patients, including guidance on diet, physical activity, hygiene, and disease prevention.
- Monitor patients' conditions and progress, re-evaluating treatments, and explain procedures, test results, or prescribed treatments with patients.
- Refer patients to specialists and relevant patient care components as appropriate.
- Manage daily operations of a specific medical program, patient care unit, or research function as required.
- Direct and coordinate patient care activities of nursing and support staff.
- Follow established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, including continuous quality improvement and safety standards.
- Participate in specified health promotion, education, and/or prevention programs.
Requirements
- 3 years of directly related experience, which may include residency in a directly related medical specialty.
- Degree from an accredited program.
- Professional licensure - M.D. or D.O.
- Current Colorado medical license in good standing.
- Federal DEA certification; Medical Specialty license or certification.
- Board certified or Board eligible in specified area of medical specialty.
- Ability to obtain and maintain medical staff office credentialing and privileges.

Pay
Yearly pay: $250,000 USD - $350,000 USD, based on relevant education and experience.
