Physician – Family Medicine/ Internal medicine

Overview

A growing outpatient primary care clinic in Mount Morris, MI is seeking a full-time Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician to join its established practice. The physician will provide comprehensive, evidence‑based outpatient care to adult and/or family medicine patients using the EPIC EMR system. This role offers a structured weekday schedule, strong clinical support, and the opportunity to build long‑term patient relationships in a community‑focused setting.

Schedule

Monday to Friday, daytime schedule: 40 hours/week (36 clinical + 4 administrative hours).

Responsibilities

• Provide full‑spectrum outpatient primary care services to adult and/or family medicine patients.
• Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Conduct preventive care visits, annual wellness exams, and routine follow‑ups.
• Develop and manage long‑term treatment plans.
• Coordinate patient care with specialists and multidisciplinary teams.
• Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC EMR.
• Participate in shared on‑call responsibilities.
• Meet productivity expectations (36 patient‑contact hours weekly).
• Utilize 4 administrative hours weekly for documentation and care coordination.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and patient education.
• Ensure continuity of care and strong patient relationships.

Requirements

• MD or DO in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible (active status required; lapsed certification not accepted).
• 2026 and 2027 graduates welcome to apply.
• H1B visa sponsorship available (J1 not accepted).
• Must be able to commute within 1 hour of clinic location.
