Your Role & Impact
- Patient Care & Enhancing Care Flow
- Elicits patient histories, performs physical examinations, provides clinical diagnoses, prescribes treatments, and educates patients.
- Averages at least 2.6 patient visits per hour of ambulatory time worked.
- Collaborative Support & Communication
- Maintains and promotes patient satisfaction by considering environmental, social, and cultural factors.
- Participates in quality improvement activities such as chart documentation, peer review, and designated projects.
- Practices evidence-based, cost-effective primary care in a team-based model.
- Maintains liaison with partner hospitals’ medical staff and departments.
- Administrative Duties
- Prepares and implements age-specific preventative health schedules.
- Maintains clinical competency through continuing medical education and documentation.
- Takes call for Esperanza Health Center patients as assigned.

- Graduate of an Accredited Medical School
- Completed an Accredited Post-Graduate Training Program in Family Medicine
- Board Certified or Eligible in Family Medicine
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate appropriately
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
