Physician - Endocrinology
About the role
Opelousas General Health System is seeking a dedicated full-time Endocrinologist to join their skilled team. Residents/Fellows are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Employed Physician Incentives: Malpractice- Paid by Hospital CME Allowance ($4,000/year)
- 30 Days of Paid Time Off
- 5 days of Extended Illness Time
- 5 CME days per year
- Retirement – 3 components: 457b-tax deferred Social Security Replacement (7.65% of Physician's Salary), Hospital Contributes 5% of Physician's Salary into Retirement Account
- Health Benefits – 1st of the month following start date
Requirements
- MD/DO degree
- Board Certification in Endocrinology
- Current Louisiana Medical License
Qualifications
- Strong clinical skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Experience in outpatient setting preferred
