Physician Endocrinologist

About the role

As part of our Endocrinology team, you will manage a combination of outpatient clinics, inpatient consults and field clinics throughout Alaska.

Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse caseload of patients with endocrine disorders
• Collaborate with other specialists to provide comprehensive care
• Contribute to the education and training of medical students and residents
• Participate in research projects related to endocrinology
• Provide clinical guidance to other healthcare providers in the region

Requirements

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• Board certification in Endocrinology
• Current license to practice medicine in Alaska
• Experience working with Alaska Native and American Indian populations

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Passion for providing culturally sensitive care
• Interest in rural and remote healthcare settings

Skills

• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Effective leadership and teaching abilities
• Proficiency in electronic health record systems
