About the role
As part of our Endocrinology team, you will manage a combination of outpatient clinics, inpatient consults and field clinics throughout Alaska.
Responsibilities
- Manage a diverse caseload of patients with endocrine disorders
- Collaborate with other specialists to provide comprehensive care
- Contribute to the education and training of medical students and residents
- Participate in research projects related to endocrinology
- Provide clinical guidance to other healthcare providers in the region
Requirements
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Board certification in Endocrinology
- Current license to practice medicine in Alaska
- Experience working with Alaska Native and American Indian populations
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Passion for providing culturally sensitive care
- Interest in rural and remote healthcare settings
Skills
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Effective leadership and teaching abilities
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems
