Endocrinologist Physician
About the role
Join an established group of 3 physicians, 2 diabetes advanced practice clinicians, and 3 diabetes nurse specialists
Outpatient endocrinology clinic care with shared in-patient call responsibilities
Evaluate, diagnose and treat patients who have endocrinopathies including disorders of the pituitary, parathyroid, thyroid, adrenals, pancreas, metabolism and bone disease
Provide appropriate follow-up care of patients (both in-clinic and remote)
Collaborate with other specialties (such as endocrine surgery, nuclear medicine, nephrology, cardiology, neurosurgery, interventional radiology, among others) in the care of patients with endocrinopathies
Supervise and teach medical residents and students in both outpatient and inpatient settings
Opportunities for supported clinical research and quality improvement work
Active involvement in division meetings, quality improvement work and CME (such as Medicine Grand Rounds)
Salary Range: $250,000 - $300,000. This compensation range represents Bassett Healthcare's good faith belief of the compensation range at the time of this posting or advertisement. Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards
Bassett offers Physicians an incentive plan with no earnings cap. Individual performance and productivity can significantly enhance compensation with potential upside realized within the first year of employment.
Sign-on Bonus up to $100,000

Responsibilities

Requirements
- MD, DO or MBBS
- Board Eligible or Board Certified
- NYS Licensure
- BLS Certification Required
- DEA Required
