Responsibilities

• Provide emergency medicine services in an academic setting with current residents.
• Work at SSM St. Mary’s Hospital in Richmond Heights, Missouri.
• Manage a 50-bed Emergency Department with Level II Time Critical Diagnosis STEMI Center, Chest Pain Center, and Certified Stroke Center.
• Handle a patient volume of 46,000 annually with a 25% admit rate.
• Benefit from sub-specialty backup availability except for neurosurgery, interventional stroke, and PEDS.

Requirements

• Board Eligible/Certified Emergency Medicine physicians.
• Current Missouri state license.

Qualifications

• Experience in emergency medicine preferred.
• Strong clinical skills and ability to manage complex cases.
• Ability to work in an academic setting with current residents.

Pay

Estimated annual base compensation of $275,000 – $900,000, depending on site, specialty, clinical volume, schedule, and experience. Compensation for part-time and per diem roles is prorated based on clinical hours worked. In addition, Vituity physicians participate in our partnership model from day one, which includes profit distributions, equity ownership, and K-1 tax advantages. Total compensation including partnership income varies by site and may significantly exceed the range shown.
