Physician - Emergency Medicine - Resident

About the Role

Join a physician-owned partnership offering autonomy, local control, and national support. Provide emergency care at a community hospital with a Level II Trauma Center, STEMI Receiving Center, and Stroke Center, serving approximately 33,000 patients annually.

The emergency department features 20 beds with overflow capacity and collaborates with on-site neonatology, hospice, case management, and nearby life flight services.

Responsibilities

• Manage moderate-acuity emergency cases
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including neonatology, hospice, and case management
• Work in a dynamic environment with access to trauma, cardiac, and stroke care resources

Requirements

• Third-year resident in a 3-year program or fourth-year resident in a 4-year program
• Current Illinois state medical license
• Active DEA certification
