This position is at a Level Three Trauma Center with 45 emergency beds and an admission rate of 27%. The center operates on a 51-hour physician coverage and 47 hours of APC coverage schedule.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency care in a Level Three Trauma Center setting
• Manage patient flow and triage in a high-volume environment
• Utilize EMR system Meditech Expanse for documentation and patient management
• Participate in flexible scheduling to accommodate independent contractor status with paid malpractice insurance
• Earn over $500,000 annually plus quarterly incentive bonuses

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Emergency Medicine
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in an emergency department setting
• Experience with EMR systems such as Meditech Expanse
• Ability to work independently and manage a busy schedule
