Physician - Emergency Medicine - Part Time

About the Role

Emergency Medicine Physician Moonlighter responsible for providing high-quality urgent care at a Level II Trauma Center with high patient acuity, including pediatrics. The role involves delivering patient-centered care, collaborating with a full team of specialists, and supporting full emergency department operations.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat patients in a busy emergency setting with an annual volume of 60,000.
• Provide comprehensive emergency care with access to sub-specialty backup and scribe support.
• Ensure patient safety, triage, diagnosis, and management of diverse cases.
• Work autonomously within a collaborative team environment.

Requirements

• Currently in the 3rd year of a 3-year program or the 4th year of a 4-year program.
• CA state license is preferred; visa candidates encouraged to apply.
• Strong clinical skills in emergency medicine and ability to handle high-acuity cases.
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and decision-making skills.
