As our Per Diem ED Physician, you will join our dynamic healthcare team in Seattle, specializing in diagnosing and treating a wide array of Emergency Medicine cases, making a significant impact on their lives and families. You will provide compassionate and expert care, conducting thorough assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support the holistic well-being of our patients and their families within Franciscan Medical Group.

To be successful in this role, you will be a skilled, board-certified, and compassionate Per Diem Physician, possessing expertise in diagnosing and managing complex ED patients, alongside strong communication abilities. You will also demonstrate a deep commitment to patient-centered care and the capacity to thrive within a collegial and supportive environment.

Job Requirements

  • This is a PRN position based at Virginia Mason Medical Center, a 336 bed Level II trauma facility in downtown Seattle.
  • Shifts are 8-10 hours in length
  • VMMC annual ED volume is 24,000
  • Admission rate is 28%
  • 24,000 annual visits in a moderate-acuity urban ED
  • Exceptional specialty support for seamless patient care.
  • Comprehensive Stroke Center with onsite Neurohospitalists.
  • Regional Hyperbaric Medicine Referral Center, offering unique clinical exposure.
