About the Role
Emergency Medicine Physician position (1.0 FTE) in a Level III Trauma Center, providing high-quality emergency care in a rural hospital setting.
Responsibilities
- Deliver 24-hour coverage through 12-hour shifts, including peak volume periods, with occasional additional shifts.
- Manage an annual patient volume of approximately 13,000-14,000 visits, averaging 16-18 patients daily.
- Collaborate with a collegial, team-oriented department alongside NP/PA support seven days a week.
- Utilize EPIC DAX for clinical documentation and participate in departmental leadership opportunities.
- Contribute to a newly remodeled emergency room within a top-performing, accredited rural hospital.
Requirements
- Board-certified or eligible in Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine with EM experience.
- Certifications in ACLS, ATLS/CALS, and PALS required.
- Strong clinical skills, teamwork, and flexibility desired.
